Boy Bands War

When there're too many boy bands , it tends to encourage'' bands war'' lol.

This time around, it's brits versus brits...sad, isn't it ? ( I know this gonna happen soon enough and I might not have the chance to avoid writing a post about this any longer, well well well, look, here we are now. )

The Wanted VS One Direction ( And the saddest part is, The Wanted started the  ''war'' first...why ?! Why do they think they need to bring this to themselves ?!)

Let's get started, shall we ?

THE WANTED
It seems they target fans who are 18- 25 and above, as Max said so. Well, I, for one, certainly agreed. Their songs are more mature and they have a sense of originality in each and every one of their songs. Their voices are very recognisable so people can easily point out that a particular song is from the Wanted. They're very likable and generally decent guys. But it doesn't seem so anymore. When they got enough fame, they started drinking, pulling pranks, playing around and doing stuffs because they could in the name of their growing popularity. I don't have any proves about this. This is just according to reports which could be very false most of the time. I hope the guys defending themselves soon. Another thing, they seem to be loathing the One Direction so much that they don't see eye to eye and don't even talk or hang out, according to the reports, that is. They said One Direction is for kids and they hardly see them as their rivals. Ouch. That's certainly arrogant. Let's just hope that the reports are all false and they're still very honourable and likable as they first started off.

ONE DIRECTION
They certainly target younger fans with their younger song choices and they do look more decent than The Wanted, no doubt about that, or maybe not Nathan Sykes, lol. They are kinda like Justin Bieber, in nearly all aspects, but not that successful yet, mind, and their songs aren't really recognisable like Justin's. They're still down to earth and very humble, but I'm not sure whether that will change when their fame shoot up. They do stuffs like every teenagers/ young adults in the world do so I guess that is ok. They haven't say a thing about The Wanted so far, or maybe they just don't bother. I, for one, just couldn't understand why The Wanted bother so much, wonder if One Direction really is a treat to their fame. The Wanted and One Direction are equals in term of talent, I'd say. They just found themselves lucky to be able to have so many fans and maybe become successful. You know, bands don't last long and become low and unknown very fast if they're not careful.

So either it's The Wanted or One Direction, we should just listen to their music and don't care so much. For the record, I'm a fan of both bands, so yeah. And I know there're a lot of people out there who are the same as me. I just think that bands should support each other in order to survive and be popular for years to come. We, fans, don't really need to choose between them. We really don't. :) We love you both, The Wanted and One Direction.

My Music History

Ah...~m~u~s~i~c~~~~~

I got to know music all by myself when I was about 3. I remembered dancing weirdly to Kevin Kern piano melodies. Then when I gradually grew up, I listened to all the kids songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars, Old McDonald Has A Farm, Bah Bah Black Sleep and so so. Later on, I listened what my parents listened to, the oldies although I didn't know what the songs were about at that point. At the age of 12, that was when music became a major part of my life. The radio was always on and I listened to musics non-stop. I got to know all the Chinese singers because at that point I only listened to Chinese songs, which I didn't know why. But that just lasted a year. When I was 13, I was back to the oldies again and this time around, I actually knew what the songs were about and surprisingly I could remembered all the melodies and lyrics so I could sing along. Later, I moved on to the modern English songs, like pop songs and stuffs. That made me discovered a lot of great singers of my age. Listening to English songs, either oldies or modern songs, have made my music scene these recent years and this makes my life awesome indeed !

Music makes wonders~~~

Wizards of Waverly Place Final

Question : What show could make Tiffany cries and laughs at the same time?
Answer : Wizards of Waverly Place Season 4 Last Episode Final . ( Disney Channel TV Show)

This is the first time ever that Tiffany cried while watching a TV show...omg...
Don't exactly know why, but I think I cried because I can relate to the things they showed, so yeah, I guessed that's it...I have never cried even though the shows are touching...lol

Wizards lives ON !!!

Pride & Prejudice

Yesterday I watched Pride & Prejudice and it was rather wonderful.

The storyline wasn't exactly like in the book but otherwise everything was fine. The actors and actresses did well .I rather think Elizabeth looked like a modern lady LOL but then again, Elizabeth was a charcter of strong woman in today's society. Jane was perfectly portrayed. Mary was sort of strange like in the story but played the piano extremely well. I got to give it to her! As for Lydia and Kitty, they were portrayed quite well too, running around and acting playfully. Mr Collins and Charlotte Lucas( Lizzie's best friend) were portrayed nicely. Mr Darcy was perfect but Mr Bingley was kind of weird, in his appearance mostly and he was way too shy lol. But for the record, when Darcy vs Bingley, I'll always be on Bingley's side. -giggles- The music and scenery were perfect. Oh gosh, how I love to stay there...

PS :The other TV show about Pride& Prejudice that I watched was Lost In Austen.

Piano Dreamers

I'm in love with this CD : Piano Dreamers : A Collection which was bought by Dad fifteen years ago. It compacts all the wonderful piano-playing melodies that were played by several pianists. Inside there're a few sentences which are so moving and touching that I feel I must share with you so that you'll feel the same way that I do.

''No dream is too great when the wings of the heart are set free''

''Dreams are illustrations from the book your soul is writing about you''

''Within each of us is a loving, magical, powerful being...A Real Self. Music, friend that it is, cocoons us from our worries, enabling that hidden self to emerge''

''In our daydreams, in our night dreams, we enter a magical realm where anything is possible.A moment of enchantment, a pause in the veil of time for weaving dreams''

Compare to the time when I wrote the post below, I'm indeed calm now....
