Field Trip to Homestay

With : Fellow coursemates

Well this is my first ever homestay vacation and it was pretty awesome ! :D

We got to experience what it is like to live in kampung and how the everyday lives are and the activites they do. :) The activities included going to the paddy field, drinking cool fresh sugar cane drinks, fishing, catching eels, visit the fireflies, do art and crafts and canoeing.

Those fireflies were the highlight of this whole trip ! Oh gosh...they are just amazing...blinking their lights in bushes...they just look like Christmas bushes !!! :D Ooooo....

The best and most important part of any homestay vacation is of course the foster parents. :) I got a pair of lovely foster parents and I'm grateful for their generosity and kindness. Everything seems alright with them and it just felt great . :)

Joycelyn of BH : Good question! I have a beautiful picture that I treasure till now , it was drawn by our very own Miss Tiffany Tham. A brown house in the midst of flowers, that is practically my dream house!! Hence, the whole concept and inspiration!! =) Many thanks to Tiffany!!"
FTV : " Miss Tiffany, is she like an angel?"

FTV : " So, will I be seeing you guys everyday?"
Joycelyn of BH : " I can't promise you that, but we'll definitely see you at least once a week!! We have our own stuff to care about, apart from this beautiful place!!"
