My One-month Holiday

So what did I actually do on my one-month holiday ?

Instead of getting depressed about how unproductive I am, I'll just try to list out the things that I actually did and hence to make myself feel better in the process. *laugh*

1. I learned how to take care of a puppy.

2. I learn how to bake. Baked chocolate and walnut brownies successfully too !

3. I...well I...managed to study some notes. Although NOT as what I have planned for myself, which is study all the course books and stuffs. Definitely didn't work out that way. Oh well.

4. Watched two movies. The Hobbit ! Which I'm now a fan ! And LOL, starring Miley Cyrus.

5. Had karaoke sessions at home ! Which was fun !

6. Spent quality times with family .

7. Stay quite healthy, I'd say.

8. Went shopping for a few stuffs. Yes, A FEW. seriously !

9. Continue writing my story and created a new one as well !

10. Read a lot of books !

So there you go ! At least I have done 10 things. Well, at the very least. Now, I shouldn't feel so bad about myself for not doing anything throughout the holidays ! I could be happy *laugh* Although I didn't really finish ticking off my to-do list, I'm content that I at least did SOMETHING.  And it's better than nothing ! So YEAH !

So now that holiday is ending, my last semester of A-level course will be starting. Goodbye free and lazy time, Hello busy hectic time with lessons and assignments to attend to. Oh well.

See you guys around !

Collections of thoughts

So there is this thing out there which states to be comforting, inspiring, meaningful and motivational, which is what I called, the 'collections of thoughts'. Collections of thoughts include memory boxes, humour collections, gratitude journals, proud and happy time records and something similar to those.

People have said that these kind of things could help us a lot during when we're sad and depressed about stuffs in life and it's easy to see why to be honest. These things make us happy again, make us feel grateful and blessed, feel alright again that our lives are still wonderful and bad times will soon fade because everything ends somehow and things will be alright in the end.

I have been thinking of starting this for quite some time but I have never get around to do it. I just feel lazy to be very honest, I'm sorry to say that. *laugh* And then I'll have to think of stuffs to write which I normally don't do because I sort of wait for inspirations to come to me and I'll write stuffs down then. But generally, yes, I'm, well, LAZY.

Anyways, when I do come around to write, I'll surely post it up here. I don't believe I couldn't write something for this, psssh. xD Inspiration, I trust you !

Goodbye.

The Story of an Outsider

Introduction

I am currently having my semester break from college and I have basically been sitting around all day, read magazines, watch television and be on the internet all day long and repeat the same routine again for the next day. I know I am really unproductive. I do occasionally go out and have some fun with my family though but I am still generally unproductive.

So one fine day, out of the blue, when I was just sitting at the living room and staring at the wall across me, an idea hit me. It was like a vision that came to me, a vision of me sitting in a corner watching people walk by and looking around as the world revolves around me. Then I thought to myself , hey! This may be fun to write. And then the title came to me, ‘The Story of an Outsider’. I got genuinely excited and started getting other ideas of how to write everything down and how to plan the story and so on.

But then again, I am a terrible person who will start something and never finish it. So I was thinking to myself that what if I write something down and don’t finish it again? Hence, I delayed writing this down and let the idea sat on my mind for a few days to just ‘cool’ things down a little.

But it didn’t really cool down as you could see. So right now, I am writing this down for you and for your enjoyment I hope.

This is what I am planning to do for this whole story. I will be literally an outsider, looking at the world, thinking about what might have happened to the people and things surrounding me, what their lives might have been like and adding my own side of stories, memories, experiences and maybe some opinions and views of my own to it.

I would appreciate it very much indeed if you would take your time and read a story that is written by a bored young adult with her unproductive life during her college semester break. Thank you in advance for your kindness, my good people.

P.S stay tuned for Part 1 of the story.

Disney Stars : Now and Then

So Miley Cyrus's latest single, named We Can't Stop is out and I'm listening to it. The video is, well, very different from her previous songs and videos, but not totally unexpected as we have seen her rapid and extreme changes throughout the years. It got me thinking how we have all changed physically, mentally and emotionally as we got older.

Miley Cyrus

Like a lot of people, I went on and listened to all those old songs Miley sang after listening to 'We Can't Stop'. Basically, she started with a song called '7 Things'. And then there was 'Party In The USA'. 'The Climb' and 'When I Look At You' came along as two of the most emotional songs. She did a few country songs too which were all very fun and inspirational. She changes her image quite a lot from her Hannah Montana days. People don't accept this nicely. They criticized her and threw nasty comments towards her. Well this is what you get by growing up in the public eye I guess. She took all the bad comments well I could say. She went from being a goody-two-shoes (role model to many young girls) to a rough rock singer with drinking, dancing and partying. This is without a doubt, an extreme change. She wanted to ditch her quirky clean image to a rock n roll image very badly and in an interview she even said that she is ashamed of all the songs she did during her teenage years.

I don't really understand why she feels the need to do that. Although I love her no matter what she did, I still think that her voice is so perfect for country songs and those touching emotional songs to motivate and lift spirits. But I can't deny that her voice could be suitable for any kind of songs though. She is a wonderful person deep down and she stays true to herself. She is very talented and people love her for it.

Demi Lovato

Her career basically kicked off when she starred in Camp Rock with Jonas Brothers. After the movie ended, she started singing, with the song called 'Get Back'. People were all amazed by her voice range, such powerful loud voice it is. She acted some more in a few Disney shows and had duets with Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez, and became very close to them. She continued to sing until there were a few reported events that said she hit people, her friendship with Selena got sour and she checked herself into rehab.

After some time, she got out of rehab and got a new album, with the emotional 'Skyscraper' as the first single. She had grown a lot more mature after she came out of rehab. She talked about what she had been through, about her eating disorder and emotional breakdowns. Since then, she stopped acting and just focused on her singing. Her songs are very motivational, meaningful and emotional and that makes Demi a role model to many girls out there.

Her latest album, named Demi with the first single 'Heart Attack' is out and got positive feedback.

Selena Gomez

She acted in the Disney Barney show when she was a kid, landed herself in a few more shows and then got a leading role in Wizards of Waverly Place. Her fame rose because of it and she tried her hand in singing. Her first songs include 'Tell Me Something I Don't Know', 'Naturally'and 'Falling Down'. She looked young and pretty in her music videos and her songs were just fun to sing along without any deeper meaning to them. She continued acting and tried her hand in the fashion scene later.

She dated Justin Bieber and at the same period we saw her grown into a more sexy and mature lady with her songs, such as 'who says' and 'love you like a love song', which have more meaning to them. Her latest song now is 'come and get it'. People used to say that she couldn't sing but recently we gradually see her improvement. Her acting, singing, fashion sense and beauty make her an idol for many young girls.
