My Love for History

So now you guys know I love History too lol . Mind you , it isn't any kind of history , it's the European History !( My cousin , Chloe , loves it too ! She said it on her blog :) ) -Whispers- And of course , my own country history . Yeah , right ... FAIL lol !
After 5 years of studying the Malaysian History , it's getting boring ...Although I liked it in the beginning , I really did .I have always like History . :D
I remember this unforgettable moment that I discovered a chapter in my History text book about the European History ...And I didn't look back since... I read that chapter again and again . I watched the History channel . I surfed the net about it . Lol , I'm obssessed .
And now , I'm going to buy a book about the European History :D Yes !!

Essay Competitions here I come !

I planned to participate in essay competitions and set it as one of my goals in the year 2011 . Guess what ? Right on cue , two awesome essay competitions popped up !!!

1. Young Commonwealth Competitions 2011 ( Essay Competition )
This is the world's oldest and largest schools' writing competition . This year's theme is Woman as Agents of Change . To be frank , it isn't an easy theme to write about . But I'm always out for a challenge when it comes to writing . So bring it on !!!

2. Dublin Literary Award for young Malaysians 2011
This is the eighth Dublin Literary Award . This year's topic is on Teenagers Today . It isn't too hard , isn't it ? But still, I shouldn't be cocky . I must get the job done lol !

I hope I'll get some prizes . Did I mention that the winners of these competitions will get a chance to visit the U.K ?
Young Commonwealth Competitions : To London .
Dublin Literary Award : To Dublin , of course .

OMG , this means if I'm lucky enough , I'll fulfill not one , but two of my goals !!! Did you know that I want to visit the U.K badly ? Man, can this get any better ? :D

All-England Badminton Tournament 2011

Datuk Lee Chong Wei won !! He won !! OMG !!
Datuk Lee Chong Wei ( Malaysia ) VS Lin Dan ( China ) in the final .
The results : 21-17 , 21-17 .
I watched the whole game on TV anxiously . Chong Wei has lost to Lin Dan too many times before and I didn't want him to lose again . I wasn't disappointed because he won !!! Finally !
The moment he knew he got the game point , he kneeled down and covered his face with his hands . He couldn't believe it at all ! All his supporters stood up and cheered . And when the camera circled the stadium , I saw many Chinese and European supporters cheered for him too !
Our fellow Malaysian , Datuk Lee Chong Wei is officially the All-England 2011 champion !!!
With a big smile on his face , he went around the National Indoor Arena Birmingham Stadium to shake hands and sign autographs . Everyone in the stadium was overjoyed !!!
Datuk Lee Chong Wei has definitely succeeded in making a name for himself in the world of badminton and making Malaysia well-known around the globe along the way :D

Wet and Cold Rainy Days

With 8.9 earthquake and tsunami happening in Japan and 4.7 earthquake in China , it was raining all day long here in Seremban yesterday . We didn't do much in school . And it's also the last day of school before our first term holiday .
I have been telling people I love rainy days for the longest time , but now , I don't think I love rainy days much . Lol.
Rainy days are wet and cold . I'm longing for the sun to shine .
Everything puts on hold when it's raining . Everything is in slow pace . ( This is the only reason I love rainy days actually .)
But when it's raining for three or four days in a week , it isn't cool anymore .
So now do I still love rainy days ?
Yeah ,once in a while will be great . ^.^

Lately, there have been many award ceremonies going on . Grammy Award , the Brit award , Oscar...you name it .
So , I came out with an 'award thingy' too . (LOL !) I gonna call it Paragon Literature Award and the books on my bookshelf are the nominees . :D
